About Adriana Cantisani
I’m Adriana Cantisani, creator of the English is Fun! (EIF) method, a research-based approach to teaching English to young learners that has become widely recognised in Italy for its effectiveness in early language education.
I have been teaching English as a foreign language since the late 1980s, working with children and adults in schools, special needs settings, and private education environments. Over the years, my work has focused increasingly on early childhood education and on making English learning more natural, engaging, and developmentally appropriate for young learners.

From 2005 to 2011, I worked as a linguistic consultant for Chicco on their bilingual educational toy line, contributing to products designed to introduce English to very young children in an accessible and playful way. This collaboration made English is Fun! one of the few educational methods associated directly with a major international children’s brand.
In 2008, I joined the Italian television programme S.O.S. Tata, where I supported families as an educational consultant. The program ran for several seasons and made me a familiar face to Italian audiences, where I became known as “Tata Adriana.”

This experience led to further television and educational productions, including English for Me! (produced with Chicco and De Agostini Junior), as well as children’s programs such as Adriana, Tino e Me, created in collaboration with the Jim Henson Company, and Adri e Lalla.
I am also the author of two books on child development and education: Tata, Help! and Se mi vuoi aiutare, lasciami fare, both published in Italian.

Today, I continue to develop the EIF method and train teachers internationally. I have personally trained over 1,000 educators and continue to create curricula used by hundreds of children each month in structured educational settings.
My work brings together education, creativity, and cognitive development, with one clear goal: to make English learning for children more natural, joyful, and effective.
